Kerosene

Kerosene is a refined petroleum-based fuel widely used in industrial, aviation, and energy applications. It is a clear to pale-yellow hydrocarbon liquid obtained through the fractional distillation of crude oil and is known for its stable combustion properties, high energy content, and reliable performance across multiple industrial sectors.

Manufactured and supplied by Mashal Chemical, operating within the industrial network of MERCO Group Bahrain, our kerosene products are refined and processed using advanced production systems to meet international industrial and commercial fuel standards.

Kerosene serves as an essential fuel and solvent in sectors such as aviation, transportation, industrial heating, chemical manufacturing, and energy production.

Kerosene is a middle-distillate petroleum product obtained during the crude oil refining process. It typically consists of hydrocarbon molecules containing approximately C10–C16 carbon atoms, giving it a balanced combination of volatility, energy efficiency, and combustion stability.

Due to its relatively high flash point and controlled evaporation characteristics, kerosene is considered safer to handle and store compared to lighter petroleum fuels such as gasoline.

These properties make kerosene a reliable fuel for aviation turbine engines, industrial burners, and various heating and processing systems.
